NEW YEAR

I was watching Ron Swanson's mom in The Ghost Behind You and it reminded me of the Snuffleupagus and his angst about his snuffle being larger than his clamdigger. We gallant men don't have that concern. We know that the ghost behind us is us. Once you've had the snot banged out of you, no sense getting all Blair Witchy. That came across as Man Show parody. Not so sure I want to peacock even a drizzle here since ladyness is next to dayum -ness. And guys can have the snot forcibly removed from them, too. Which brings us to fast cars being the escape vehicle from a tight spot. Even if the only tight spots were brought on by driving too fast in the wrong places, having that horsepower was testosterone-y. Then you turn 20 and . . maybe it was 30, you turn 30 and the speed no longer - OK it was turn 40 effen 40 and cars aren't so stimulating. Not being on the road is stimulating. Gazing at the 5PM Virgin to London is stimulating. Nothing's been removed but in our binary world we just added another zero. Check please,

Morris , an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, 'You're really doing great, aren't you?' Morris replied, 'Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.'' The doctor said, 'I didn't say that.. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'
