"Where do thoughts go when forgotten?" ~Sigmund Freud
I thought the notion that we cannot be sinners if we act on desires that we're biologically programmed to do was comforting. Today I read about evolutionary psychology, it's origin and acceptance and got these gems: that men with smaller testicles make better fathers, that men with attractive partners perform oral sex more often because they're checking for competitors' sperm, and that women have orgasms in order to attract mates willing to commit to raising offspring. Holy hackysack, Batman!! And here I thought learning that if I eat my crayolas my poop might be green or cerulean was the ah-ha moment of getting it. But now there are professionals who made ESS (evolutionary study of sex) credible and I have new answers about why I desire. Mmmm-m-m-m- - tastes like Gary Hamilton. Moments like this make me ever more grateful for teh internets.
Biorhythmically speaking, can't settle on numbers. Feels like things are going on and I could or should be more involved but if I don't know what that is, where does that put me? Really OK but that triple nine state of being seems distant. Summer staleness maybe?
