NEW YEAR

When the answer is "not yet, but I'm healing" you wonder what the question is. The recuperative aspect of getting better should always be a good thing. It is always a good thing. So when I see that the idea of redemption (healing) is ego tripping on getting into heaven, you might say it's better than languishing in Blue Ball Land. See, you're not really abstaining if your creature comfort is violated - you meant to do it but you didn't. Intrinsically, intention is stronger legally than just errors in judgment so no half-steppin' #5. An elderly couple is watching a preacher on TV one night. The preacher faces the camera and announces, "My friends, I'd like to share my healing powers with everyone watching this program. Place one hand on top of your TV and the other hand on the part of your body that ails you, and I will heal you." The old woman has been having terrible stomach problems, so she places one hand on the television and the other hand on her stomach. Meanwhile, her husband approaches the television, placing one hand on top of the TV and the other hand on his groin. With a frown his wife says, "Ernest, he's talking about healing the sick, not raising the dead. The husband says "Dead?, it's like a kielbasa - if you knew how to prepare it, your lady cave might be more than a cemetary plot". Now including that joke was an error in judgment, so I'm asking for redemption and bang zoom - I'm healed. But if I bloviated on purpose, I'd be placing my groin against the flat screen. Are we 'avin' a laff? Gervais again.....Extras?
